[jitsi-users] Problem with using as Unified Communications app

#1

I've recently begun using Jitsi as a UC app for my SIP + XMPP servers, but it seems like I can only add multiple contacts to one contact...heres the setup

I have an XMPP buddy list showing Jon, Paul, and Mark.

Paul@company.com is his IM address.. if I right click and add a SIP Contact for 105 to Paul, it works. Great! Now when I'm IMing paul I can hit "CALL" to initiate a call via the XMPP contact, or choose to initiate a call via the sip contact to 105.

However, when I go to Mark and add 101 to his contact...it shows in his contact listing but I cannot choose to dial that contact. Aw =(

Is this intended behavior or how can I fix this?

Something seems to have gone wrong adding the 101 contact for Mark. You
might want to try to unmerge the XMPP-Mark and the SIP-Mark and then merge
them again.

Is this intended behavior or how can I fix this?

No, this is obviously not intended, but we are aware of some problems with
the contact list.
