[jitsi-users] Problem recording voice call files with Jitsi

#1

Hello,

I am using jitsi 2.2 (stable) on windows 7.

I tried to record the voice of a call with SIP protocol but it seems
that only the format mp3 works. Using the other formats as .wav , .gsm
or .au an empty file is created.

I'll be glad if someone could answer about the following questions:

Is this a known problem ?

Is it necessary any further configuration ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Andrea,

I also have not been able to record recordings as wave when using SIP. I
tried on jitsi 2.2 stable windows 7 home premium as well as a couple
different nightly branches about a month to five weeks ago, but I haven't
tried recently with this nightly build.

Best,
Sean

I don't think it is. Could you open an issue[1] please?

I can reproduce this with the latest nightly as well (and with an XMPP call, although this probably doesn't matter).

Boris
