1) Incoming calls in my history list are not matched against my contact list, meaning I see a number but jitsi doesn't associate the number with a name already in my contact list. So I see a list of numbers in history (both incoming and outgoing) but without manually looking through my contact list (or calling) I don't know who they are.

How can I fix it so it shows me names instead of numbers?

2) It would seem that in order to have two numbers for a single person I need to create two separate entries. Example: One number for office, one number for mobile/cell phone. And a third for home/landline. And a fourth for their conference line. Am I missing some obvious way to do this?

Thank you

Can it be that the numbers from the contactlist and those for the
incoming or outgoing calls are different, or in different formats.

You can always merge different contacts in one, using drag and drop or
right click menu.

Hi
I have noticed the same issue on transfer and conference sub menu/window,
only showing numbers and no names.
I wonder if this could be resolved too.
Thanks,
Mirko

Thank you for your response.

You are correct my contact list is not an exact match for the incoming number. My contact list has dashes, and parentheses, and spaces in the number, because that is a common way to enter it. i.e. (XXX) XXX-XXXX (and other variations). Shouldn't jitsi clean this input before matching?

Also, I merged two numbers for one contact - home & mobile - now I have one name, and no way to know which number is which.

Finally, I do not see a way to edit the number. Please advise how I can edit it, without deleting the entire entry and recreating it.

Thank you in advance.
