[jitsi-users] No audio or video in some situations

#1

Hi all,

I have a problems with Jitsi-Meet. Sometimes (I think that, when a both parties are behind NAT) I can't get video or audio work, but if I put my another laptop to mobile broadband (without NAT) and another in my wifi (behind NAT) everything works as expected.

In jvb.log I can see this.

INFO: ICE state changed from Running to Terminated

and

INFO: Failed to connect IceUdpTransportManager: net.java.sip.communicator.service.protocol.OperationFailedException: TransportManager closed

Connections via meet.jit.si works okay.

I can send more logs and configs if I just know which are needed to start debugging this situation.

If anybody can even point me to the right direction, I really appreciate that...

"Terminated" means success, although normally it should go from "Running" to "Completed" and only then "Terminated".

and

INFO: Failed to connect IceUdpTransportManager:
net.java.sip.communicator.service.protocol.OperationFailedException:
TransportManager closed

These are most likely harmless.

Connections via meet.jit.si works okay.

I can send more logs and configs if I just know which are needed to

Is your bridge also behind a NAT? Have you configured it mapping[0]?

You should see the clients' javasctipt console and look for the ICE state (filtering for "TIME" is often helpful).

Boris

Hi Boris,

I managed get this to work. It was my own mistake. I have one error in my configs and after fixing that (domainname) and opening ports 10000-20000 UDP in my firewall, everything works. Server is not behind NAT.

Thanks,
