I’m completely new to this Videoconferencing stuff.
I have a working Jitsi-meet and video bridge.
I managed to have video conferences in the web browser and on mobile phone.
Additionally I try to get our Polycom Videoconfence System to join such a meeting via a SIP call.
I managed to get audio working with the jigasi and a sip software (kamailio)
Should this be possible to work for video too or am I missing something?
If this should work, are there configuration examples somewhere? If not, what might possibly be missing??
Jigasi is for audio only calls, it doesn't support video.
If you want to use a sip device to join a conference with video you
can look at https://github.com/jitsi/jibri, there is an option there
to start a pjsua command line sip client to join a call with a video
(start-pjsua.sh), and before that you must setup the machine as
described in the README, as it is used for jibri.
Mind that project is in early stage, it is not trivial to set it up
and some parts may miss documentation.
The deployment of jibri supports one call per call, so if you want
several sip video calls simultaneously you need several instances of
