Hi,

I have a new OpenFire server on DigitalOcean

full XMPP services including Jingle.

just curious - how do you set up a server with explicit Jingle support?
Jingle is purely client-side.

At one point I set up a server here at my house but I could not get
Jingle to work because I was NAT'ed behind a router. By setting
Openfire up on a Unix instance that provides me with a true public IP
Jingle works now. Nothing special. I just have a public IP I can use.

In order for openfire to assist with NAT traversal you need to have the
Jingle Relay Nodes plugin.

Is that what you are trying to say?

No. I was saying that it didn't work on my previous server. I have the
plug-in on my new server and all is well.
