[jitsi-users] Need help setting up lib-jitsi-meet

#1

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a minimal working example of lib-jitsi-meet.
Currently I have all the back end set up and can run jitsi meet just fine,
but my page is unable to get any remote video. The error message that I see
in the console is "Halt: There are no SSRC groups in the remote
description." This message apparently came from the sdp-simulcast library,
and persists even after I specified the "disableSimulcast" option.
    The page is currently at
https://jitsi.liveexperttest.net/images/jitsi.html. Can someone help taking
a look for me? Thanks.

Hi Richard,

It does not look like you are informing the room of your local tracks, so
in essence, no one is telling the server about their own tracks. In the
example, this is being done by the 'onLocalTracks' method where it is
calling room.addTrack(localTracks[i]):

https://github.com/jitsi/lib-jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/example/example.js#L55

This should go in your own 'onLocalTracks' method after the call

Cheers,
Simon

to: tracks[i].attach(video);
