[jitsi-users] Need explanation to have jitsi meet video call with SIP / IP camera

#1

Hi guys,

I've installed Jitsi meet (meet, bridge and prosody service) on the same box. Everything is OK.

I would like to know if it is possible to use this jitsi solution to have visio call with other visio solution (not webrtc, SIP/IP camera).

Can someone help me ? I think I need a better technical understanding of all involved software stack ...

Regards,

Raphael.

Can Jigasi support video call to SIP world? I set up the same test bed as
you and managed to make a voice call to SIP phone registered with FreePBX
from Jitsimeet browser app.

From the link,

https://github.com/jitsi/jigasi

Jigasi registers as a SIP client and can be called or be used by Jitsi Meet
to make outgoing calls. Jigasi is NOT a SIP server. It is just a connector
that allows SIP servers and B2BUAs to connect to Jitsi Meet. It handles the
XMPP signalling, ICE, DTLS/SRTP termination and multiple-SSRC handling for
them.
