[jitsi-users] Navigation in the Jitsi Mobile App for android

#1

Hi !

Thanks for the repo, first of all!

Cloning and running the app works smoothly, but I'm having a hard time
deciphering the code. If I wanted to add a couple of pages before or after
the conference, what are the steps? I saw there is no navigiation component
used in the react-native code. Is it possible to introduce one?

Thanks a lot,
Regards,
Pranav

That’s correct, we use no navigation component. We had one in the past and we removed it (can’t remember the reasons) so I doubt we’d be inclined to add one.

We do have an artisanal way for rendering different routes: see https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/react/features/base/react/RouteRegistry.js and https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/react/features/app/getRouteToRender.js

You need to make changes to the latter.

Cheers,
