[jitsi-users] MUC history

#1

Hi!

I have just recently started to use XMPP and setup a server etc for it.

When I creat chat rooms (MUC) it seems as JITSI (windows client) is only
caching history locally, and doesn't request message history from the
server (http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0045.html)

Does Jitsi on Windows and Android support MUC server side history?

Thanks

Jitsi does show the room history that the server sends. The client does
not need to specifically request message history from the server (and
Jitsi does not specifically request that no history be sent).

Are you sure that your server sends history?

Boris

The problems was that the history was lost on each server restart.
Prosody (server) doesn't store MUC history to disk.
