[jitsi-users] Latest Stable 12/20

Is anyone on the latest version? It look like a few core feature is broken.

1. Authenication is broken
2. Can see other pariticpants
3. Not sure whatever else.

Anyone on the stable version is experiencing 1 and 2?

Very disappointing!!!

Hi,

Indeed there was a auth problem
https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/issues/1053, which was fixed in
build 1538 and currently the stable doesn't contain this fix. Maybe we
can push a new update these days.
Can you elaborate on the second one, what is the problem? Have you
checked any logs from browser, jicofo, jvb?

Hi Damencho,

I'm seeing the same on the 12/20 stable release. With the anonymous domain config, you get no login thus no conference thus no video. I suspect that's what the OP is referring to about other participants. Login/logout on the menu is also broken so there's no workaround. I think it was all fixed in PR 1167? Anyway, a quick fix pushed to stable would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Hi,

Unfortunately that stable was not including that fix ... we updated the
stable with latest version running currently on meet.jit.si, can you check
it, it should fix the problem?

Thanks

Thanks, Damencho. That appears to have done the trick. The anonymous domain setup works OK and I'm able to login and out from the menu.

Yes. I just did a test 3-way test call. After the moderator logs in, videos show and switch to active speaker and all you'd expect. I have a custom interface_config.js and had to update a few settings to get the thumbnails to show properly but that's about it.
