[jitsi-users] jitsi, xmpp and server-sided archive?

#1

Hi there;

using jitsi with our corporate XMPP server, I am pretty much pleased
with its feature set - except for that in jitsi I don't see the server
sided archive so I miss out on messages I used to receive or send on
other clients.

Is there some way to make jitsi aware of (and use) the server-sided
message archive? We use openfire as XMPP server which should support
several XEPs required or usable for that...

TIA and all the best,
Kristian

Hi,

This is currently not supported in lib-jitsi-meet xmpp implementation
[1], but it shouldn't be very hard to add it. We will be happy to
review any PR if someone is interested in adding that.

damencho
