[jitsi-users] jitsi videobridge webrtc

#1

Hello,

Could anyone tell me how to connect to (https://myxmppdomain:7443/jitsi/apps/ofmeet) via connection managers, not directly to openfire, because i have connection managers in dmz and openfire internally not exposed to the internet with jitsi videobridge plugin, and I want to allow external users to connect to webrtc via connection managers, I enabled http binding in file manager.xml but it doesn't work when connecting to https://mycmanagerDomain:7443/jitsi/apps/ofmeet via connection managers I have this error net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in javascript console.

Thank you for help.

Hi,

this is a question for openfire guys. Not sure how those connection
managers are handling plugins. Normally jitsi-videobridge needs to
have public ip. It has also properties to configure it behind nat, but
some port ranges need to be forwarded to it.

Hi,

you can always run jitsi-videobridge on different machine, that's the
idea of the components. We run it like that on jit.si.
