[jitsi-users] jitsi-videobridge not listening on port 4443

#1

Hi all,

I have just installed jitsi-meet on a Debian Stretch box, also running prosody, and nginx.

I am currently using the apt sources from:

deb https://download.jitsi.org unstable/

Everthing is working fine, except of videobridge.

I can see other users, but Video and Audio is not working.

After some examination, I can't see any Service running at port 4443.

Configuration is:

org.jitsi.videobridge.AUTHORIZED_SOURCE_REGEXP=focus@XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/.*
org.jitsi.videobridge.NAT_HARVESTER_LOCAL_ADDRESS=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
org.jitsi.videobridge.NAT_HARVESTER_PUBLIC_ADDRESS=YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY
org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_PORT=4443
org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_SSLTCP=true
org.ice4j.ice.harvest.ALLOWED_INTERFACES=eth0
org.jitsi.impl.neomedia.transform.srtp.SRTPCryptoContext.checkReplay=false

Last log entry in jvb.log is:

JVB 2017-08-19 13:19:07.549 INFORMATION: [15] org.ice4j.ice.harvest.MappingCandidateHarvesters.initialize() Initialized mapping harvesters (delay=939ms). stunDiscoveryFailed=false

There is nothing to see about an upstarting listener, neither any Errors. Also netstat only see's nginx on tcp port 443.

Do you have any idea?

Can you post the full logs? Perhaps also try to remove the eth0 property
(just to see if it makes a difference).

You don't need tcp/4443 for video to work, but it should be bound with this
configuration, as far as I can tell

Boris
