#1

Hi Team,
we are unable to test more than 1000 Plus Users on Jisti Video Bridge from Hammer.
error mesg : org.jitsi.impl.neomedia.transform.CachingTransformer.warn() Not creating a new cache for SSRC 119346794: too many SSRCs already cached.
Hammer : /jitsi-hammer.sh -BOSHuri http://xx.xx.xx.xx:5280/http-bind -users 100 -length 900 -room conf1 -audiortpdump resources/narwhals-audio.rtpdump -ivf resources/big-buck-bunny_trailer_track1_eng.ivf
Ran 10 rooms with each 100 Users and landed on this issue. Can any please explain us , what is limit and what is the best way to test the Jitsi Video before we take it on to Pre-Prod env.
ThanksShyam Yeduru

Hi,

Hi Team,

we are unable to test more than 1000 Plus Users on Jisti Video Bridge
from Hammer.

error mesg : org.jitsi.impl.neomedia.transform.CachingTransformer.warn()
Not creating a new cache for SSRC 119346794: too many SSRCs already cached.

We have a packet on the egress side for all receivers, and you are hitting the limit in number of streams. The default is 50, and you can override it by setting this property (in /etc/jitsi/videobridge/sip-communicator.properties):
org.jitsi.impl.neomedia.transform.CachingTransformer.CACHE_SIZE_STREAMS=200

Boris

Thanks Boris. On the Video Bridge .. jvb.log.. We see conference,

the conferences n channels correct .. But how do we calculate the
video streams ?

The "video streams" value is an estimation of the total number of streams forwarded by the bridge. E.g. for a 10-participant conference with everyone streaming video this is 10*9 = 90 streams. Does that answer your question?

Can we enable recording on Jitsi ? Thanking you in
advance ..

You could, but it is not something that we actively maintain.

Thanks a lot Boris. How to make this video bridge work without Hammer. Like Hammer I just creating dummy conferences. I want this to use as real time . I have streamed YouTube videos on this .. Is there any documents to follow for secured conferences...
Please let me know if any thing available..
