I have just installed jitsi_2.10.5550-1_amd64
into my system: Debian stretch 9.4;
Linux Debian 4.15.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP 4.15.11-1 (2018-03-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux
I installed it over a previous Jitsi installation, which had contacts in the servers: ‘jit.si’, and ‘dukgo.com’. I think those servers have not been active for a while.
When starting Jitsi dekstop client, it tries to login to a user on these inactive server (jit.si); a Jabber authetication window pops up; when I click on “cancel”, the window disappears, and Jitsi hangs (gets stuck).
I have to get out by clicking Ctrl-C twice.
What should I do?
Here is the output:
~$ jitsi
ALSA lib pcm_dsnoop.c:618:(snd_pcm_dsnoop_open) unable to open slave
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1052:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
