[jitsi-users] Jitsi programming question

#1

Hello,

I am trying find out where the datagram packet with the
request/response messages is created and send through the socket, i
have took the sources of jain-sip-ri.jar because i have found that in
IOHandler.java and UDPMessageProcesor.java exists some methods that
receives and send the datagram packets with messages, i have modified
an compliled the jar them to find if is true, but it doesn't seem that
Jitsi calls those methods.
Any information will be great.

Best regards
Cristian

Hey Christian,

Both of these methods are rather low level in jain-sip and we mostly use
the jain-sip package. In other words we don't directly call these methods.

You should check the jsip documentation (http://jsip.java.net) for more
details on their high level API.

Hope this helps,
Emil
