[jitsi-users] Jitsi : Playback of video

#1

Hello,
I am using libjitsi to create a application as part of my assignment to
send and receive media.I am not able to understand how can i playback the
received video stream.I have tried the sample codes of AVTransmit and
AVReceive and only audio is played back!
I have been trying to deciper this for a week or so.Can you please give me
a hint in proper direction.
A previous thread says Jisti can serve as a definitive guide to do so.Isn't
there a simple example explaining how to do so in short rather than going
through the Jitsi Source code
Thanks a lot

Jitsi is the definitive reference on the use of libjitsi by the Jitsi
developers. The question about a video rendering example has been raised
from time to time for a long time but, strangely enough, no one has
contributed back such an example yet. Due to lack of contributions from the
community, the example will have to wait for our other priorities.

Thanks Lyubomir!
I hope I can contribute to this solution! Can you give me a hint where to
begin. I am slightly new at coding. In fact this is my first project. There
are classes pertaining to Video like VideoMediaStream which deal with Video
Stream. Will I have to create some sort of player and then pass the video
stream to it? I am not sure where and how to begin.

Regards,

Can you just point out where I can look for the implementation which plays
the received video stream in Jitsi source code, that will surely help

Thanks!
