[jitsi-users] jitsi.org intermediate certificate missing

#1

Hi,

Some browser versions and RSS clients are unable to accept the
certificate on https://jitsi.org

It looks like an intermediate certificate needs to be added on the web
server, maybe https://certs.godaddy.com/repository/gdig2_bundle.crt

Maybe the web server could also be changed to Let's Encrypt?

Regards,

Daniel

Hi,

Some browser versions and RSS clients are unable to accept the
certificate on https://jitsi.org

Out of curiosity, what browser versions and / or RSS clients are those?

It looks like an intermediate certificate needs to be added on the web
server, maybe https://certs.godaddy.com/repository/gdig2_bundle.crt

CC-d Damyan in case he missed this.

Maybe the web server could also be changed to Let's Encrypt?

Why?

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the notice, We have adjusted the way we’re serving this particular certificate, and it should include the intermediate chain now. Please let us know if you notice any issues with the new certificate deployment.

Cheers,

-Aaron
