[jitsi-users] Jitsi on Ubuntu/Debian non x86

#1

I'm looking at the source code snapshots for Jitsi[1] and notice that
there is no INSTALL or README file.

What steps do I need to take to get Jitsi running? This would be on PPC
or MIPS with Linux, so the regular installer packages, which appear
locked to i386 and amd64, would not be the right ones.

Regards,
/Lars

If you're willing to try the sources, why not try the latest nightly src release fro here:
https://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/nightly/src/

Apart from that, what worked for me was:

1. Download https://download.jitsi.org/jitsi/src/jitsi-src-2.2.4603.9615.zip
2. Unzip.
3. Run ant rebuild && ant run

Ok. Thanks. It compiles and runs on PPC. I had to add the package
openjdk-7-jdk and (I think) openjdk-7-jre
