[jitsi-users] Jitsi memory usage

#1

I am running Windows 7 64bit, with Jitsi 64-bit nightly build 4014. Typically Jitsi memory usage is over 400Mb. Is this normal? This seems high to me, as compared to other similar applications. For example (although I hate to mention it) Skype only uses ~42Mb.

Thanks

As a comparison, here's what jconsole tells me after an hour of phone
calls and chats with jitsi 1.0-build 3967 on linux. Perhaps not really
a comparison due to version and OS differences. I'll fire it up under
Win7 64bit and see what I get too.

Skype on the other hand consumes 650MB of resident and 1.2 GB of
