Hi,
I have configured jitsi meet on my unbuntu machine and trying to test and
explore it and realize that this is not supported on Apple products. I
checked FAQ's and it says due to iOS restriction it is not supported. can
anyone highlights what are those restriction ? Just few pointers
Thanks,
Abhi
This is quite simple to answer: Safari doesn't support WebRTC (yet).

Chrome for iPhone != Chrome for desktop. The iOS version (and Android version, probably) only support a subset of the features the desktop version supports. It doesn’t surprise me that WebRTC doesn’t work in Chrome for iOS.

Abhishek,
Unfortunately the only browsers Apple allows into the App Store are those built atop its own rendering and JavaScript engines. However pages with heavy JavaScript use will load slower on third-party browsers since Apple only permits Safari to use the fast JavaScript engine.
Chrome on iPhone and iPad is basically a slower version of the Safari browser with Chrome's UI.

Chrome on Android does support WEBRTC and Jitsi works on it.
Your only option for a browser on iOS is Ericsson’s. It does support WEBRTC but it is not fully there as a browser and it does not support some functions that prevents it from supporting Jitsi Meet. It can however support basic WEBRTC calls.
