[jitsi-users] Jitsi Meet: troubleshooting?

#1

Dear all,

I am new in this list. Thank you for being active.

I am starting trying to use Jitsi Meet. My first problem came trying a
"meeting" with 5 people, only audio, and only 2 or 3 us could hear each
other. The rest couldn't hear us or be heard. Actually, they did not even
appear in the contact list.
Mics where all alowed and not muted.

The thing is: I do not know where to go for troubleshooting, other than
this list. Any ideas are welcome, thank you so much!

Check the Logs… Is the best way to determine what is happening with your Jitsi-Meet instance. By the way, have you setup in sipCommunicator file your local IP and public IP for NAT ? That’s a common issue that would cause some failures at communication level. Be sure as well to open in your firewall the multimedia ports 10000 to 20000 UDP.

Cheers.
