[jitsi-users] jitsi-meet session recording -- odd behavior

#1

I haven't used the recording feature in some time but noticed issues when trying on the latest build. When I correctly enter the recording token and press 'save' the following errors are logged in the browser console and the dialog stays on screen:

Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function app.bundle.js?v=11:14702
Recording.toggleRecording app.bundle.js?v=11:14702
(anonymous function) app.bundle.js?v=11:14695
(anonymous function) app.bundle.js?v=11:4727
n.event.dispatch jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3
n.event.add.r.handle jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3
n.event.trigger jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3
(anonymous function) jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3
n.extend.each jquery-2.1.1.min.js:2
n.fn.n.each jquery-2.1.1.min.js:2
n.fn.extend.trigger jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3
(anonymous function) jquery-impromptu.js:114
n.event.dispatch jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3
n.event.add.r.handle jquery-2.1.1.min.js:3

After I exit out of the dialog ('x' or 'cancel'), I can start and stop recording as usual. If I previously entered the wrong token, the same error occurs but rather than starting and stopping on next button presses, the recording indicator lights as if recording but doesn't actually start. The light then stays on on successive presses.

Anyone else able to confirm this?

Hello,

We have just pushed a fix for the recording(commit fdada53 <https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/commit/fdada53a4a263d50b6602e63ad48e1fe38662f8c>). Could you please try it and confirm that this fix resolves the issue?

Regards,
Hristo.

Thanks, Hristo. Initially, it looks pretty good. The dialog goes away as expected now. I'm able to toggle on and off with the proper state logging in the console.
