[jitsi-users] Jitsi-Meet screen share extension

#1

Hi there

Yesterday I upgraded Jitsi-Meet to its last version according the unstable repository, however I noted that there is something wrong with the compatibility of the extension that I was using in Chrome, now it doesn't work; simply the other participants are no able to watch what is shared by the host. After a couple of test, I downloaded the jidesha project in order to create a new extension, however the problem persist. Do you know where could be rhe the problem?

Thank you in advance,

Cheers.

Hi,

Can you reproduce this with beta.meet.jit.si <http://beta.meet.jit.si/>? I tried and worked fine with both Chrome and Firefox on the receiving end. Note that only the sender needs to have the extension installed; do you see your own screen capture as the local view upon enabling it?

Last, I do see something really bizarre on Canary, the colors are completely off.

Cheers,

@Jack, the person that was trying to share their screen had a camera
connected?

Sorry for not closing this topic. I solved the issue installing the version in the stable repo. However the bug remains in the unstable one.

Thanks for replying.

Cheers.
