[jitsi-users] Jitsi-Meet Jirecon (Recording Option)

#1

Hi Boris

Thanks for your kind response, however I have some doubts about it. As far as I remember, Jibri is the old way of recording, isn’t it? But the fact is if I enable the recording option in the config.js and adding the recording variables in the .sipCommunicator, it doesn’t work neither. It shows a message “The recording option is not available” Do I need to setup something else?

Cheers

Hi there,

I would like to know if there is a way to record my jitsi-meet
conference? Apparently the jirecon is not yet implemented from scratch
in the deb package. When the option is activated in the config.js, there
is a message “Stream is not available”. On other hand, the old recording
way is not working anymore. Can somebody give me a clue?

Jirecon is no longer used or developed. We are now using jibri[0]

Boris

No, jibri is the new one.

This is the old way.
