[jitsi-users] Jitsi Meet Jigasi

#1

Hi,

I have Jitsi meet and Jigasi configured so I can dial into a room. My question is if it is possible for a dial in user to join a empty room? At the moment there's need to be someone in the room to allow dial in users to enter.

Thanks in advance,

Jens

Hi,

since build 144 of jigasi, if there is no jicofo in the room jigasi
invites it, this way jigasi can be the first in the room.
There is a timeout waiting for invite, which by default is 30 seconds,
so if jigasi is alone in the beginning of the call it can be alone for
only 30 seconds, you can control that by using property
org.jitsi.jigasi.JVB_INVITE_TIMEOUT.
There is a timeout how long jigasi can stay in the room alone when
others left, by default it is 3 minutes. There is a property that
controls that: org.jitsi.jigasi.LEAVE_TIMEOUT.
