[jitsi-users] Jitsi Meet Android App

#1

Why now a required Jitsi Meet (Mobile) Android App to connect to a
conference room? Anyway to override and utilize a native web browser on
the Android device like it used to be?

There is no way to configure the app it just asks for a room name. I
have a current room name, there are participants, but the Android client
fails to connect.

Clicking on 'Start a conference' does nothing, even though I have the
Jitsi Meet App installed.

If you are using Chrome in android just tick the option "Request desktopt version"

If yoi want to use the android app in the conference room, write "server.jitmeet.whatever/room"

Cheers

You can enter the full URL (in case you’re using a self-hosted Jitsi Meet instance, and it will connect there.

Cheers,
