[jitsi-users] Jitsi hates Time Warner/Arris router

#1

I've been using Jitsi through Verizon w/no problem. Just moved to Austin
and am on Time Warner with an Arris router. Tested both ISPs and it's
definitely TWC/Arris. I'm wondering if there is a setting in Jitsi or
the Arris router that will fix this? OR, TWC/Arris is blocking me
without recourse. :(. Should I waste time calling TWC? The Arris router
I've noticed has very limited customization abilities.

Nothing is too difficult for the man who does not
have to do it himself.

What protocol are you trying to use? SIP? If that's the case, the router might block it to force you using your ISPs services. Maybe have a look at https://jitsi.org/faq#fragmentation.
