You're probably attempting to run a 32-bit build of Jitsi on a 64-bit
Java Virtual Machine.

How did you install jitsi? If you use the .deb packages, you should probably use an "amd64" one.

Yes, that was it, though I don't understand how I ended up with 32-bit
package at the forst place.
