[jitsi-users] Jitsi: can't make/accept calls: "Packets dropped because full" > 95 %

#1

Hi everyone,

I'm having troubles with Jitsi. After some time I can't establish SIP calls any longer. This means I can neither accept an incoming call (although the call-window appears, but it only shows "connecting"), nor call someone (pressing the button on address book entries or the dial dialog does nothing).

After a restart of Jitsi, the first call works as it should, but then it fails again.

Some facts about the installation:

Jitsi is beeing used for several weeks/months now. It used to work, but started failing today. No configuration changes or program updates occurred (automatic OS updates might have happened).

OS: Win7 Pro, 64 bit
Jitsi: 2.8.5426, 32 bit

Hi,

this is normally a problem with devices or the code handling them. It
can be a driver update causing problem... If the device is usb you can
just try connecting and disconnecting it while jitsi is not running...

Hi Damian,

I could fix it for today by restarting the computer. It seems to work for now. If the problem reappears, I will give you feedback.
