[jitsi-users] Jitsi aspect ratio of widescreen video on 4:3 monitors.

Another undesirable feature of Jitsi has been highlighted by one of our users.

Virtually all of our system use 4:3 monitors, however we are using 720p USB webcams (Logitech C920).

The setup we are using has Asterisk and Medooze MCU at the centre. MCU is setup to generate tiled screen layouts for the VTC Jitsi clients, using 720p output. It would appear however that the aspect ratio of the monitor is the deciding factor of the aspect ratio of the output from Jitsi. I am told that a way of telling Jitsi to letterbox the images to preserve the correct aspect ratio of the incoming video has not been found.

Is there a way to fix this with Jitsi?
