Also, Windows task manager shows that both run.exe and javaw.exe (Jitsi's) are running/visible even after the crash...

Jitsi build 3441 and up.

I'd send you the Jitsi log files but I don't know if they're useful in this case.

Could you please tell when (during the execution of Jitsi) the
exception occurred? For example, on startup or when you received a
call and/or you tried to answer it.

Just to inform you that the latest build (3467) does NOT crash anymore with Windows 7...

Oops... I had another APPCRASH this morning after rebooting the system.
So I guess that the Windows 7 bug or artefact is still around.
Not critical ,though.

crash anymore with Windows 7...
