[jitsi-users] Is port 443 enough? What about 4443, 10000-20000

Hi jitsi users!

I just finished my setup on ubuntu with the package jitsi-meet.

In front of the server i have an nginx reverse proxy, that only forwards
requests to port 443.

Based on the manual setup page a lot more ports are needed:
https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/manual-install.md

So my question would be:
Is it really enough to only open port 443 to connect to jitsi-meet, when
setup with the ubuntu package jitsi-meet?

Or would it be better for some reason to also make the other ports
available:
*TCP 4443 and UDP 10000-20000*

The current setup works. But im confused.

Have a great day!
Philipp

Hi,

When using nginx and jvb on same machine, the minimum will be 4443 for
tcp connection fallback and port 10000 for udp media.
