[jitsi-users] Installing Jitsi meet on Android 6.0.1

#1

Hi,

I try to install Jitsi meet from the play store. While i'm installing
the app, "Helper Pakkettoegang" crashes. After a long while when the
install is finished. My launcher "Mijn Starter" also crashed. And it
stays crashing till I remove the Jitsi meet app.

I'm tring to install the Jitsi on an Wiko "U feel prime" with Android 6.0.1.

What can I do to troubleshout this issue?

Kind regards,

Michiel Piscaer

Use adb to grab logs when this happens. You can get the logs by running “adb logcat” on your computer with the Android device connected over USB. You’ll need to have adb and drivers installed.

Please note we will be shooting in the dark here, I’m personally not familiar with that launcher and have never seen this error before.

Cheers,

Thanks,

I updated my ticket https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/issues/1782.

I attached the log to this e-mail.

After installing the app, I launched the app and it crashed:
