[jitsi-users] How to provide JVB room in header for SIP call?

#1

Hi All,

We finally have SIP working but it uses the default "siptest" JVB.

The sip-communicator.properties file mentions that we can provide a special
header providing the JVB room to connect to.

It will be great if someone can assist or provide some clue on how to do so.

Hi,

you are probably talking about sip incoming calls. Currently if an
incoming call has the following sip header: "Jitsi-Conference-Room:
Meeting1234"
the call will join conference with name Meeting1234. If the header
Jitsi-Conference-Room is missing it will join the default room which
is siptest and can be controlled with the property in the config.

Hi Damian,

You are a saver. That worked. Thanks a ton.

If you dont mind - can we get video working through this SIP too? If yes,
what needs to be added to sip-communicator.properties?
