[jitsi-users] How to create audio indicator

#1

I need to make a simple audio indicator like the one in jitsi meet, which
is the blinking dots when user speaks, but simpler. I've tried using Web
Audio API, but it didn't work. Am I in the right way using Web Audio API,
or is there any other simpler way to achieve it? Is there such event to
show audio indicator? what event do I need to listen to?
Thank you.

I also tried to listen to
JitsiMeetJs.Conference.Events.TRACK_AUDIO_LEVEL_CHANGED but it's not fired.

Is this question regarding Jitsi Meet or in a different WebRTC environment? Using Web Audio should work, unless you are on mobile, because the WebRTC plugins for Cordova and React Native don’t really work with the Web Audio API.

What client / browser are you using?

Cheers,
