[jitsi-users] How can JitsiMeet w/ Jigasi answer incoming sip call?

#1

Hi All,

I've deployed JitsiMeet + Jigasi per quick install guide from https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/quick-install.mdBesides the browser base conference functions, I call call out through jigasi gateway to my sip phone that also registered on a kamailio sip server. However, when I initialize a call from my sip phone to jitsi meet conference, I can not see the expected "Incoming call" tcpdump on sip server show that jigasi gw can receive sip invitation from my sip phone and send 180 ring sip message.Could jitsi expert show me which way to dig into?
Thanks and Best RegardsYanchong Wang

Hey Yanchong,

Your INVITE needs to have a Jitsi-Conference-Room header set to the value
of the room you'd like to reach.

Yes and otherwise it will try to enter default room[1], but if the
conference is empty it will leave it after 30 sec of waiting and
reject incoming call.

Pawel:
Thanks for quick response, I realized that the opened conference room can hardly be the default room.
BTW, can I specify the new created conference room as the default "siptest" conference room? And How can I know my current conference room name?

Thanks and Best RegardsYanchong Wang
