[jitsi-users] Hang up

#1

Dear all,

I am using sipgate a german voip provider and it works fine except when the other side hangs up. Jitsi does not recognize this and the call continuous till I hang up. What do I have to do?

Thank you,

Sebastian

Emil,

You rock. I´m learning more about SIP by lurking here on this list
than by reading any books.

(I should read the books, too, but that´s beside the point).

Keep up the good work.

Since, in the scenario you describe, it is sipgate's responsibility to end the call, the most probable explanation is that the server is not sending you a BYE request.

Shall I attach the logs cause I do not really understand them?
Thanks,

Seb

Your logs would help confirm or deny that.
