hey i am ajay and i m new to open source . i wanted to get started with one
of your projects , please can you guide me ?

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for reaching out! It’s great to see people interested in Open Source, specially if they want to contribute to one of our projects! :slight_smile:

I’m not going to lie, our projects are not necessarily easy to get started with, alas, so here is what I suggest:

- follow the documentation and try to setup your own Jitsi Meet instance
- if you run into problems: ask!
- if you think the documentation is not clear and you feel you can improve it: send us a Pull Request with your fixes! documentation is often overlooked and it’s invaluable, specially for newcomers
- use the software! use it with your family! tell your friends! tell your enemies!
- find something that doesn’t work quite as you expect: work on a fix, send a Pull Request
- find something you’d like to add: send an email to the mailing list, discuss it, implement it!

And don’t forget to have fun while doing the above, that’s the most important part.
