[jitsi-users] Further provisionig options

#1

Hi,
we are wondering to place Jitsi on a kiosk to permit A/V call through XMPP.
We placed sip-communicator.properties file of the clients installed on the
kiosk all the settings found on this page:

https://jitsi.org/Documentation/ConfigureJitsiWithProvisioning

as follows:

net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.configforms.SHOW_ACCOUNT_CONFIG=0
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.contactlist.CONTACT_ADD_DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.contactlist.CREATE_GROUP_DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.chatroomslist.GO_TO_CHATROOM_DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.menus.AUTO_ANSWER_MENU_DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.configforms.SHOW_OPTIONS_WINDOW=0
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.configforms.SHOW_ACCOUNT_CONFIG=0
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.generalconfig.DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.neomedia.VIDEO_CONFIG_DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.securityconfig.DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.notificationconfiguration.DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.chatconfig.DISABLED=1
net.java.sip.communicator.plugin.advancedconfig.DISABLED=1

Even after doing this once the client start there are still some menu
visible:
Auto Answer
Contact Add
Create Group
Go To Chatroom

How can we manage these menu to be not visible anymore?
Is there the possibilty to hide other menus such hase sound manage and
multiparty call, videconf call?

Thanks in advance, regards

Hey,

can you please re-test and add true and false for values (not 0 and 1)
for your properties. And see how it goes.
You can also check the following properties:
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.menus.CONFERENCE_CALL_MENU_ITEM_DISABLED
net.java.sip.communicator.service.protocol.VIDEO_BRIDGE_DISABLED
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.neomedia.AUDIO_CONFIG_DISABLED
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.neomedia.VIDEO_CONFIG_DISABLED
