[jitsi-users] Firefox problem with Jitsi Meet

#1

Hi!
At 26.12.2017 I read about a Firefox problem which should be fixed
"these days" [1]. I experienced some issues with meet.jit.si on 5.1.2018
and am not sure if these are related or not. Can anybody clarify if the
Firefox problem has been fixed and deployed to meet.jit.si already?

Best regards.
Stefan

Yep, it was fixed, but not deployed yet to meet.jit.si.

Is there a way to find out which version is deployed to meet.jit.si?

Hi,

Yes, if you are talking for jitsi-meet just open the index.html and
you can see the version "app.bundle.min.js?v=2524" This is the
jitsi-meet-web version.
If you execute in the js console: JitsiMeetJS.version, you will see
lib-jitsi-meet hash.
And if you open two tabs in the same room and filter the console logs
with version you will see prosody, jicofo, and jvb versions.

FYI: Jitsi Videobridge 1021 containing the fix [1] for Firefox seems to
be deployed to meet.jit.si five days ago.
