[jitsi-users] Feature-Request: No double-click to open Jitsi in panel

#1

It took me a long time to find out, that a double click is needed to
open jitsi in the panel, while all my other sip-phones in the panel are
opened with a single click. Is there a reason for a double click?

To make it clear, I use 1 siphone only at the same time, but sometimes
I need others for testing.

I'm not entirely sure why it would take you a long time - you click
once and it doesn't work, you don't get the idea to try with a double
click so the only other alternative seems like right-clicking and the
context menu has a way of opening Jitsi... Anyway, we're talking about
multiple operating systems here so I guess it is not as clear cut as
it seems at first.

Is there a reason for a double click?

Is there no discussion on the subject in the dev mailing list archive?
It rings a tiny bell so you may want to try searching through it.

May I second that? If it's no big trouble please allow showing / hiding the Jitsi window with one click only (on the systray icon). Constantly double clicking is so.. unnecessary.
