Hi Folks,
i am new on the list an d new to Jitsi. First of all - thank you for a
great piece of software! If our tests over here are successful we are
planing to build a connector to SugarCRM.
My problem: i am using a VoIP-PBX and have to dial a "0" before
calling external parties. The numbers ob my contacts are stored
without this prefix. I have been searching around to find the place
where i can put in this dialing-prefix but i did not succeed.
How exactly are you storing your contacts? LDAP? XCAP? Outlook? Apple Address Book? XMPP? Google Contacts?

Sorry for chiming in but I believe the OP is asking for Jitsi to have
a "dialing prefix" config option where you can add a certain calling
prefix before ALL numbers.
Windows 95 implemented this as part of "dial-up networking", in the
modem settings.

Our SugarCRM feeds an LDAP-Directory but i tested
Thunderbird-Addressbook as well. International Numbers are usually
formatted like
+49(6331)149740
this should be 00496331149740 for the pbx. I have to add 0 in front to
dial out. So this one would be: 000496331149740 for my pbx
Ok?

Maybe this could be used as inspiration for an upcoming feature?

What happens when you define "000" as a prefix for your LDAP contact source?

Well... shame on me. I did not expect this feature to be adress-source
specific and so i did not have a look at it when setting up the contacts.
It works! I set one 0 as prefix for SugarCRM-LDAP Contacts as well as
for Thunderbird Adress Book. It works like a charm. Thank you Emil.
