[jitsi-users] Desktop sharing when in a conference call?

#1

Hi all,

I've been using Jitsi for months now to do 1 on 1 teaching sessions. And except for some problems with Pulseaudio, I'm quite happy with it
I know it has conference call capabilities, but I've never used them... So I was wondering... Is it possible to share desktops when on a conference call? Which would allow me to deal with groups... I haven't had the opportunity to try this yet.

Thanks.

Seb.

Yes, just enable desktop sharing and if you have decent network bandwidth you should get good results. Try playing with the video settings (resolution, fps...).
I've had issues when enabling remote administration - the mouse and keyboard events are processed very slowly and the connection comes to a crawl, even within a LAN.
(using SVN)

Which would allow me to
deal with groups...

Haven't tried that.
