[jitsi-users] Deploying Jitsi MSI with SIP creds

#1

I was wondering if anyone has experience deploying Jitsi msi file in a domain (using GPO) with credentials prepopulated for each user. Is there a way to have the user authentication pull the SIP creds for the installation?

I never deployed it directly with GPO, only with SCCM. You can set a
provisioning URL as documented in [1], but pre-authenticating currently
isn't possible because Java can't do Kerberos on Windows [2]. If you're in a
pure intranet environment, you could consider serving the SIP credentials
using provisioning without authentication. Otherwise create a script for
provisioning that authenticates the user using LDAP and then serves the SIP
credentials (and other account settings).
