[jitsi-users] Create a room programmatically

#1

Hello,

I'm trying to use jitsi meet to add video meeting to a third party tool.

In the purpose of securing a server open to internet, I want to have jitsi
meet configured with private and public domain like explained here
https://github.com/jitsi/jicofo#secure-domain). When a user want to
initiate a conference, the third party server will create the room via a
server to server call and redirect the user to the public room url.

For the moment, I have the jitsi server configured correctly and I'm
evaluating smack-bosh library from igniterealtime to create the room, but I
don't know if it's a good choice or even if it's possible.

I searched some references on such usages but I don't anything.

Is there any jitsi guru to tell me if It's possible or if I'm on a wrong
way ?

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Vincent

Vincent,

I have the same need here, and as far as i know, Prosody doesn't persist anything. It means that as soon as a room has no participants no more, it is destroyed.
