[jitsi-users] CentOS 7 Support?

Hello would like to know if Jitsi Videobridge and other jitsi utils are
compatible with CentOS 7?

Would also like to know how to configure the files if the server were to be
hosted on a Local network? Haven't found enough documentation concerning
this.

They should be, did you run into any problem? If you are using a recent version, make sure you installed Java 8.

You may want to configure an ice4j harvester if you are running your jvb behind NAT: https://github.com/jitsi/ice4j/blob/master/doc/configuration.md

@saghul

any chance you could shine a light on where to go to do the installation for centos? I have seen here the rpm to install but I do not think this in the Videobridge which I am trying to get working as a server so apps like rocket chat can use this bridge for video conferencing.

Pretty new to this so any advice is appreciated.

There is no rpm package, you need to run everything from source and configure it from source … for beginner this can bring you a lot of frustration as there are many moving parts. For a start you can follow the quick-install guide on Debian/Ubuntu machine https://jitsi.org/qi to have a working solution than you can replicate those configs and everything from source to your Centos.
