[jitsi-users] Can't see bluetooth device

#1

Hi, I am trying to use a Motorola H680 bluetooth headset with Jitsi but it never shows up in the list of available devices.
I can see it as a device, the PC can see it, Jitsi cannot.

Any tips on how to use this?

Thanks.

Hi,
what is your operating system?
For accessing audio devices we use portaudio, and it seems for some
reason the lib don't enumarate this device.

In this case, it's an XP workstation.

I think I know what you are talking about. I didn't use the Windows version because I read about the problems with using it. I instead when with 'widcomm_bluetooth_drivers_BtwDownloadSE.exe'.

Either way, when I look at my status bar, I see 'Bluetooth devices' but that's a Windows based tool. Maybe I'm missing something or it can't be done?

Our lists moderate messages from non-subscribers so if you could just
subscribe you won't need to wait for your messages to get moderated (and I
would no longer need to moderate them from my mobile which is quite an
adventure  )

I don't have a problem doing that but I did do that originally, that's why I monitor the list :).
I'll check and do it again if something changed since, it was many months ago.

Thanks.
