[jitsi-users] Call recording creates 0 byte file

#1

OS: Xubuntu 12.04 LTS
Jitsi Version: 2.3.4803

I've tried this a few times and it's always ended up with the same
result. Whenever I try to record a call, instead of actually recording
the file, a zero byte file will be created in ~/Calls. This file has the
expected name for a recorded call but contains no actual call data.

Is this a known bug? Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,
Anthony

Hi,

I observed this when recording wave file as well. I reported my
observations but no one replied. Then about 4 weeks later, someone reported
to same issue when trying to record the wave file. I'll happily file a bug
for this issue but I don't know where or if I'm authorized to
submit a bug report.

Thanks,
Jungle

It sounds similar to the problem described here:
https://trac.jitsi.org/ticket/1186

Is it the same, or does mp3 not work for you either?

Boris
